The utter folly of evolutionism will never be seen more clearly than on the final great day of God. It is utterly impossible that anything, much less everything, could come from nothing. Only the eternal God can cause this reality we inhabit to exist, and only he can cause it to come to an end and be the rightful focus of that reality. God is the beginning and the end. It cannot be any other way. This truth will be completely and transparently evident on that great, last day.

On that last culminating day also, all that exists will once more be one in a way that it has not been since the fall into sin.

For untold ages and eons, before time ever existed, God existed, and he was all that existed. He is the only eternal Being. Everything else had a beginning that began when he created it. Only he is eternal. Therefore, there was nothing else but God for these eternal ages past.

Because there was only God, all was one. His will was the only will. Then he created all that exists, gave them their beginning. That beginning has its reference in him. There is no other reference point to which all that exists can point.

But once he created beings with free will, and after that freedom was used to rebel against God, there was no longer one will but many wills. There can be no unity when there are many wills.

But at the end, the reference point of eternity past once more becomes all there is. At the end, all is one again. And that One is God.

Scripture for today: Rev. 4:11
Thought for today: God is the reference point for all reality.
Prayer for today: Almighty God, continue to make me aware now, in this life, that you are the focus of existence.
